Visiting Nurse Service of New York

PeopleSoft 9.2 Upgrade

Visiting Nurse Service of New York (VNSNY) is the largest and oldest not-for-profit home health care provider in the United States. Visiting Nurse Service of New York provides service to patients in the five boroughs of New York City plus Nassau and Westchester counties. VNSNY has over 12,000 employees and the average patient census is 30,000. Over 2,000,000 visits are provided by clinical professionals each year.

Scope of the Project

VNSNY upgraded General Ledger, Asset Management, eProcurement, Purchasing, and Accounts Payable from 8.9 to 9.2.

The Challenge

A key focus area for this initiative at VNSNY was the revamping of ePro where customizations were made to improve user experience by reducing the number of clicks, etc. VNSNY was also interested in a list of potential new features includes both revamped and expanded workflow, Work Centers, SES, mobile technologies, and security modifications.

Success Delivered

VNSNY was extremely pleased with the results of the project. Elire was able to deliver everything needed to VNSNY’s satisfaction. The project ended on time and under budget. Another successful delivery by Elire!
