PeopleSoft Test Framework Training

H-E-B is a privately held grocery retailer headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. H-E-B currently operates more than 340 stores throughout the U.S. state of Texas and northeast Mexico.

Scope of the Project

H-E-B engaged Elire to train a team of business analysts on how to create and use automated test scripts via the PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF). The Elire PeopleSoft Test Framework training team consisted of a PTF technical expert and a Strategic Advisory Services (SAS) Project Manager

The Challenge

The client team had to balance production support responsibilities with learning a new, complex, powerful tool. The project was fully remote, and client resources learned the tools and approach at different paces.

Success Delivered

Elire and H-E-B’s Business Analyst team successfully created PTF script coverage for the majority of their PeopleSoft HCM application. The PeopleSoft Test Framework Training gave the BA team technical skills which they could expand and apply to the PeopleSoft Financials application, new modules, or out of scope transactions even after Elire left. The SAS Project Manager guided the H-E-B team with a strategic approach for automation and a process for scripting in the future.
