Cloud Readiness Assessment
In 2017, Elire successfully partnered with BI Worldwide to deliver their PeopleSoft 9.2 FSCM Upgrade. Earlier this year, BI Worldwide identified that they would like to transition to Cloud within the next 5 years and discussed with Elire the process in making that transition. Elire performed a pre-readiness assessment in which we met with the BI Worldwide team to review the approach, and then sent a scorecard questionnaire for them to self-score themselves. After the questionnaire was complete, Elire facilitated a series of working sessions to gather additional information and then validate their score. Elire then presented a final Cloud Readiness Score, along with recommendations on how to include the scores in their IT roadmap to be better prepared for a cloud transformation.
This collaborative assessment was successful in that BI Worldwide provided us with a transparent and honest assessment of their current state. The BIW Team was pleased with Elire’s presentation and assessment deliverables and are integrating the recommendations into future projects as they take their initial steps towards cloud.
Elire was able to give BIW specific input on the areas that they need to improve upon in order to be ready for a cloud transformation across People, Process, and Systems readiness categories. Key areas to integrate into their cloud planning include recommendations for defining performance metrics, defining a resourcing strategy, performing business process and gap analysis, defining a integration tools, performing a report rationalization, and defining a strategy for customization analysis and removal.
Now with a detailed, holistic view of their PeopleSoft current state and key readiness criteria, BIW can build a roadmap to assess key gaps in their cloud strategy, while also continuing to derive additional value from their PeopleSoft Application.
