PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 Upgrade & Re-Implementation 

ACE Parking currently serves 500,000 Customers a Day, with 750,000 stalls managed by 5,000 Team Members at 750 Operations.

Scope of work

ACE Parking required a long overdue upgrade to move them from PeopleSoft Financials 8.4 to PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 with a focus on the General Ledger and Accounts Payable modules. The ACE Parking team desired to leverage new functionality to streamline extensive manual business processes, as well as review potentially obsolete customizations and reports. There was also a need to redesign user application security within the 8.4 environmentA security redesign was employed to better equip the ACE team with pertinent administrative and business process user roles and permissions.   ACE Parking engaged Elire to successfully deliver on all fronts. 

Success Delivered

The Elire and ACE Parking project team successfully went live and reimplemented PeopleSoft Financials on 9.2 in February 2023.  With the successful go-live, ACE eliminated obsolete custom processes and reports that have accumulated for years. The team configured core elements across AP/GL to ensure day-to-day business functions were stable and supported the business operations at large.  ACE eliminated unnecessary application processes as well as existing data elements providing for streamlined usage of the application going forward.  

The team implemented key functions and features such as the Payment Request functionality and approval workflow.  In doing so, ACE streamlined manual AP payment processing.  The security redesign including pertinent roles and permissions were designed using a best practice approach and separation of duties in mind.   

ACE Parking transitioned to Elire’s Managed Services team to handle bug fixes, small enhancement/support requests, on-demand support, drive DB efficiencies, and improve overall application support across PeopleSoft FSCM and related applications.
