Join Elire at the online global event of the year: PeopleSoft RECONNECT Dive Deep. This 4-day long event from Quest Oracle Community will take place October 4th-7th, 2021 and will include more than 150 sessions.

Tuesday, October 5 

Improving your PUM strategy: Tools & Tips for Minimizing Customization Impacts

In this session, Elire expert Jeff Hilliard will provide tools and templates for a consistent and best practice PUM strategy, providing a framework for customization review and cataloging. He’ll discuss the movement of customizations using PeopleTools 8.58 techniques, which minimize PUM impact so you can look forward to the next PUM update rather than dread it.  

Kibana and Elasticsearch: Leveraging These Tools for Success

This hands-on session led by Jen Rudnicki and Jessica Wu will highlight the technical aspects and advantages of Kibana and Elasticsearch. Elire experts will provide financial sector use cases and engage the audience with a demo to highlight critical features of the data visualization tool.

Automating Processes with RPA & Chatbots

Kayla Franklin and Thomas Kwiatkowski will lead this session, providing insight on how to optimize your business processes through Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software and Chatbot technology. Experts will discuss strengths and weaknesses of these emerging technologies, highlight the difference between process automation and acceleration, and identify opportunities to automate low value-add tasks.

Progress in Action: How SPPS Used Their 9.2 Upgrade to Modernize Their PS Footprint

11:15 AM -12:15 PM CDT  

Edmund Glasenapp (Elire) and Jeff Cummings (SPPS) will present this session including a case study of Saint Paul Public Schools (SPPS) upgrade from 9.1 FSCM/HCM Systems to PeopleSoft 9.2 FSCM (PUM 39) and PeopleSoft 9.2 HCM (PUM 37). The case study will focus on SPPS’s new feature and enhancement selections, process improvement initiatives, upgrade and PeopleTools 8.59 considerations to implement best practice process decisions and leverage improved functionality.
