Over the past 50 years, Treasury technology has evolved based on global trends, industry initiatives, changing business requirements which has shaped the customer experience. Speaker Bios:

Matteo Monaco, Head of Wire Products | Santander Bank

Matteo Monaco leads wire payment product management to support the needs of Santander’s client base. Areas of focus include solution development, risk management and market management for domestic and cross border payments. He is part of the payments transformation team at Santander, he brings subject matter expertise in FinTech, Standards and Partnerships across cash management.

Matteo joined Santander in 2019, he has more than 25 years of senior leadership experience within banking and technology organizations. Throughout his career, he has lead product management, strategy, and business development teams at SWIFT, CGI, FIS and J.P.Morgan.

Matteo holds an MBA in Finance from LIU, and a Bachelors in engineering from NYIT.

Stacy Rosenthal, Head of Payments Product Management, Transaction Banking | Santander Bank

Stacy Rosenthal is the Head of Payments Product Management, Transaction Banking, for Santander Bank. Stacy brings over 20 years of experience in banking and technology shaping market initiatives, launching new solutions, managing risk and product management. She is responsible for core payments products and serves as the business lead for the Payments Hub transformation initiative. She joined Santander in September 2018. Prior to Santander, Stacy held leadership roles in payments strategy, product development, industry engagement and innovation at Accenture and SWIFT. She began her banking career at Bank of America as a Treasury Solutions Technology and Product Consultant.

Stacy is an industry expert and speaker on Payments, Standards and FinTech. In 2016, Stacy was honored with Global Finance’s Who’s Who in Treasury and Cash Management.

Stacy holds a BA from SUNY Albany and a MBA from Long Island University at CW Post. She is based in New York City.

LIBOR to SOFR Conversion: Is Your Organization Prepared?

The financial industry has planned to phase out LIBOR reference rate starting January 1, 2022. In the US, the Secured Overnight Funding Rate (SOFR) has been determined to replace LIBOR. Since LIBOR has been used significantly as a reference rate for corporate loans, derivatives, and for processes like measuring risk, valuations and accounting, Corporate Treasurers are compelled at the moment to allocate resources and budget to undertake initiatives to implement required changes to their Treasury processes and system landscape. In this session, attendees will gain an understanding of LIBOR phase-out timeline and its replacement with SOFR, LIBOR’s uses by Treasury, specific instruments, and areas potentially exposed to risk.

With experience on both the physical and financial sides of the supply chain, Mike brings a broad perspective to structuring solutions for clients and their suppliers and recognizes the need to impact both sides of the transaction equally. Before joining the Kyriba team, he spent over 13 years combined in Trade & Supply Chain finance roles with JPMC, BAML and HSBC.
