McGraw Hill

Oracle Cloud ERP-General Ledger & Cash Management Implementation

McGraw-Hill Education is a learning science company and one of the “big three” educational publishers that provides customized educational content, software, and services for pre-K through postgraduate education.

Scope of the Project

Elire partnered with McGraw-Hill with the goal of implementing Oracle Cloud ERP, integrating four Global Banks (plus six multi-bank reporting banks), integrating daily Bloomberg FX rates, and to build custom global real-time balance reporting via BI Publisher.

The Challenge

The key challenges faced during the Implementation were limited resources, and a tight timeline to go-live. This was driven by a legacy application needing to be retired. During the project life-cycle missing stakeholder alignment across key business groups delayed certain elements of the project.

Success Delivered

Elire was able to successfully overcome the project challenges and go-live as scheduled on March 19th, 2019. This was accomplished through following our Success Delivered Methodology, which is built on expertise with the Cloud Product and sound Project Management Principles. Users are now able to utilize the enhanced reporting tools in Oracle Cloud to improve visibility into Financial Data.
