PeopleSoft FSCM Update Image 39 Highlights

The latest PeopleSoft FSCM Image Update is here. Below, we’ll detail the key features and highlights of FSCM Update Image 39.

eProcurement Features

eProcurement Features include chatbot enhancements, eProcurement requisition lifeline, and requisition order sheets in fluid. Now, requesters can inquire about the status of requisitions sourced by material stock requests, view item images if available, view requestions entered on behalf of other requesters, and navigate to different application pages from the chatbot. The fluid requestion lifeline process allows requesters to navigate to the respective application pages when they click a lifeline stage. eProcurement enhances the fluid requestion process by using order sheets, which are a list of items where the supplier, UOM, shipping, and accounting information are pre-defined. Now requesters don’t need to override this information when creating requestions.

Use Privilege Template for Fluid Travel Authorizations

PeopleSoft Expenses enhanced fluid approvals to recognize approval privilege templates for travel authorizations. The privilege template for travel authorizations determines which fields and approver can modify. For example, an expenses manager can modify General Ledger and Project Costing chart fields.

Query Masking Enhancements

PeopleSoft now supports the masking of sensitive fields in PS Queries to ensure data protection. Only authorized users can view or run PS Queries using sensitive data.

Page and Field Configurator Enhancement

The page and field configurator now supports more fields and use cases for masking and standard configurations. New functionality applies field-change events as you enter data on the page and extends the fields available as criteria to include those at level 1. A new field property allows you to set a field to blank based on specific criteria. A new advanced options tab provides optional filtering capabilities to streamline field solution on large and complex components.

Journal Entry Spreadsheet Enhancements

PeopleSoft GL enhanced the spreadsheet process when loading journal entries. The system edits the number of characters allowed in the header and line for the reference and description fields. In addition, the reference ID and password expires 60 minutes after inactivity.

Identify Externally Funded Assets

PeopleSoft Asset Management enhances asset tracking by allowing you to associate an asset with an external funding source. In this way, you can identify and closely monitor assets that must meet specific sponsor requirements and internal policy.

Process Bank Statement Enhancements

Enhancements have been made to bank statement processing, allowing you to submit the bank reconciliation process for all bank accounts that you have access to. You can now submit the parse statement addenda process for all bank accounts that you have access to also.

Filter Project Transaction List Enhancements

PeopleSoft Project Costing enhanced the transaction list search feature by adding the search fields, analysis type, transaction ID, trans ID form, expense sheet ID, voucher ID, journal ID, description, foreign amount, and system source.

Configure Event Reminder Notifications

PeopleSoft Strategic Sourcing enhances the event creation feature, enabling you to send reminder notifications to suppliers and bidders for completing and submitting bids before the event end date.
