The project was completed on time and within budget, delivering measurable efficiencies that SFU could immediately benefit from. The automation provided by PTF reduced manual testing efforts by 25 to 40%, significantly cutting down on execution times. In particular, SFU was able to fully automate six pay cycles, dramatically improving the speed and efficiency of their payroll testing and processes. 

Additionally, the integration of OpenSearch dashboards and PTF allowed SFU to gain valuable insights into their testing cycles. These dashboards made it easier to visualize test results and track progress, giving SFU greater confidence in the accuracy and efficiency of their testing. The project not only saved time but also enhanced the overall payroll testing process, contributing to a solid ROI by accelerating operations and improving reliability. 

Building on this, SFU automated seven critical pay cycles that previously took a combined 344 minutes to execute manually. Since the automation is fully hands-off, the actual human effort required is closer to 10 seconds total, just the time it takes to trigger the run and check results. These automated scripts were especially impactful during PUM updates, where each test cycle was repeated up to three times during unit and system testing. What once required significant hours of manual testing can now be executed daily with minimal effort, allowing SFU to iterate faster and with greater confidence in their payroll testing.
