PeopleSoft HCM Implementation Assessment

Scope of the Project

In 2022, Hamilton engaged Elire to assess their options for a companywide HCM system. Hamilton wanted to migrate to a cohesive, enterprise-grade HCM application that would improve efficiency and streamline HR functions such as Benefits, Absence, Talent Management (TAM), Payroll, and Time and Labor (T&L), while preserving critical historical data. Elire’s goal for the preliminary assessment was to evaluate Hamilton’s current state HCM application usage, inventory current state requirements, review and demo PeopleSoft HCM capabilities, develop targeted solutions for known issues, and provide clear next steps for Hamilton’s leadership.

Success Delivered

Elire’s Strategic Advisory Services team, with the support of PeopleSoft functional and technical consultants, delivered a comprehensive HCM system assessment on time and on budget. Advisory Services developed a report which outlined how PeopleSoft met Hamilton’s needs across HR modules, and with the retention of important historical data in mind. This laid the groundwork for a smooth transition into a Phase 2 implementation project where Advisory Services leveraged the process and design information captured during discovery to provide comprehensive Test Management and training materials for Hamilton’s business users.
