Business Development Associate

Elire has an opening for a Business Development Associate. The BDA position is an entry level sales role that is a combination of inside sales and sales support. The main responsibility of the BDA is to assist the sales team, clients, and other co-workers in a highly organized and efficient manner. This role facilitates company goals in the areas of event planning, prospecting, lead generation, quality, accuracy, and revenue growth. This role also builds customer relationships to increase and sustain Elire’s overall competitive advantage.

Job Description & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Organize logistics and planning activities for all Elire trade shows, conferences, events, and user group meetings. Logistics may include: shipping & receiving, hotel and travel arrangements, coordination of staff, dinners, and overall event logistics
  • Work with Business Development Managers to build sales documentation including proposals, RFP/RFI/RFQ responses, presentations, and Statements of Work
  • Organization within salesforce.com & Pardot - company org charts, managing new contacts/leads in database, data entry and assign tasks to sales teams as appropriate
  • Calling prospects from conferences, webinars, and other lead generation events
  • Net new prospect research
  • Market conferences and Elire events (webinars, dinners, demos, etc.) to clients, partners, and prospects
  • Assist the sales, marketing, and partnership teams in designing, developing, and creating Elire sales/marketing materials, content, success stories, and other lead generation materials for campaigns, conferences, and events
  • Manage, coordinate, and assist the sales team with outbound campaigns and lead generation events to help drive pipeline growth and net new business
  • Administer and coordinate internal events and partner group activities
  • Utilize Pardot and third-party mailing tool (Freshmailer) to create and send email blasts
  • Tools used: Salesforce.com, Pardot, MapAnything, Google Suite, Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, & PPT) Freshmailer, Canva, JoinMe, GoToMeeting/Webinar, Basecamp, and Dropbox

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

To be considered for this position applicants must meet the following qualifications

  • Job or internship within Sales, Marketing, or Business Development
  • Highly Organized, Ability to multitask, and work independently in a fast paced work environment  
  • Experience with Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Legally able to work for any employer in the U.S.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a GPA of 3.2 or higher
