Elire has an opening for a highly driven Business Development Manager to join our sales team. We prefer candidates local to Minneapolis area; however we are willing to look at candidates residing anywhere in the contiguous United States.
Maintain loyalty from existing customers through regular review visits. Call on potential customers to introduce our services to attempt to win new business. Understand customers’ business and requirements. Participate in the negotiation of the terms of an agreement using persuasion skills to conclude the sale. Gather market and customer information. Develop marketing strategies including participation at exhibitions and conferences. Advise on forthcoming market trends. Record sales information and create reports for Management. Participate in creating/maintaining sales business process and yearly plan. Review sales performance on a regular basis and compare to plan. Participate in the recruitment of qualified candidates to fill service orders with an aggressive timescale. Prepare and respond to large RFI’s and RFP’s.
Should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in services sales, knowledge/experience in ERP Software is a plus Candidates should have well-developed people management and mentoring skills, as the expectation is the size of Elire will continue to grow Experience with business development or presales support will be an added advantage
Candidate should possess a working knowledge of a Customer Relationship System. Knowledge of Salesforce.com is a plus.
